YOUR STORY. YOUR WAY.
Share it in silence.
— SONTIAGA is a quiet collection of compact personal stories from people walking the Camino.
Not about religion.
Not about logistics or performance.
It's about the invisible backpack people carry.
About the turning point in their life.
About the heart of your journey.
— There are many reasons to walk to Santiago.
Some pilgrims seek silence.
Some leave something behind.
Some search for clarity.
Or simply space to breathe.

— Why are you walking? —
— What do you leave behind? —
— What are you hoping for? —
A few honest lines are enough.
Hi, I'm Sonia.
For many years, I have been living in a small village in Switzerland, on the Camino.
Every spring, pilgrims start to pass in front of my house — alone or in groups, silent or talkative, tired or full of energy.
They walk towards the small church at the end of the road, above the lake.
And again and again, I find myself wondering:
— What brings a person here? —
— What happens before someone decides to leave home and walk for weeks? —
So many faces. So many reasons.
I have long been interested in the moments when people quietly change direction or pace in life.
